A SEASONED MODEL, MICHON DIAMOND WARE, IS OUR SEPTEMBER MODEL OF THE MONTH
Michon “Diamond” Ware was born in Washington, DC. Her family moved to California, where she spent her younger years, before moving back to the DMV area. Early in life she developed a passion for modeling and fashion. So, at the age of fifteen (15) she signed with an agency and took on the industry in her spare time. With publications in Essence, Ebony, JET Beauty of the Week, multiple music videos and online web content, being “in front” of the camera became her second nature. Aside from modeling, she is also dedicated and passionate about being an advocate and role model for at-risk youth in the DMV area. Working with several non-profit organizations to better the lives of tomorrow’s leaders.
After being “in front” of the camera for almost 2 decades, Michon went “behind-the-lens,” as co-owner of M&M Photography, LLC, providing multiple platforms and opportunities for aspiring models, actors, singers, and sports athletes. Giving back the mentorship, guidance and coordination passed from her mentors and fellow models. For Michon, being the “September 2023 – Model of The Month” is an honor and privilege, not taken lightly and now another platform and foundation that will be built upon. She wishes to extend her gratitude and appreciation for the opportunity to be a part of such an encouraging and uplifting project and is excited to bring her talents to the team. Displaying and proving that no matter what life hands you, whether good or bad, or your age, you will prevail stronger and better than before. Preservation and Faith are essential attributes to making your dreams come true, Michon believes.
In the photos, we tease you with the first showing here in the DMV of Kapture's Official Swimwear. We have genuflected and quietly asked Ms. Michon "Diamond" Ware (a perfect middle name) to walk with the Kapture Models, in this Swimwear on September 23rd. We think she will. Still staggeringly beautiful, one photo is Michon as the Centerfold in Jet Magazine, some 23 years ago.
